I did it.
I finally made Smitten Kitchen's S'mores Pie.
I didn't make my own marshmallows though. That seemed a bit excessive.
This pie was not for the faint of chocolate heart. It was ridiculously chocolately rich.
And delish.
But let me suggest you make this pie for a large gathering of friends so it can be consumed in one sitting. The marshmallows weren't exactly fans of sitting around on top of a pie for a few days after being toasted.
Oh, and it made the house smell like S'more HEAVEN.

I should have mentioned how easy, yet time consuming this damn pie is to make. Mostly because of the multiple baking steps (3) and the fact you are supposed to cool completely in between. Which I never did.
The chocolately goodness was worth it!
